All About All American
All American Systems has been a trusted partner to fastener distributors and VMI providers across the Midwest for more than 31 years. Our sales team has over 150 years of collective industry experience; with many members having previously served in sales management roles.
We take pride in our position within the supply chain, serving as the vital link between the manufacturers we represent and the customers we support. Beyond supplying fasteners, we add value by reviewing customer applications and recommending the optimal fastening solutions to reduce total installed cost and improve overall manufacturing efficiency.

Steve Urhausen, President
With over 49 years in the fastener industry and 31 years as owner of All American Systems, I enjoy the challenges of learning about new products, working with customers and nurturing long-standing relationships. Having a good team to help develop sales for the companies we represent is rewarding, and I appreciate our supplier partners who make all of this possible. Sales may be the objective, but helping others is what motivates me.

Laura Nash, Office Manager/Customer Service
With over 30 years of experience in the fastener industry, I specialize in connecting customers with the right solutions quickly and effectively. I began my career at Wurth/Service Supply, where I gained a strong foundation working with a major distributor and developed a broad understanding of fastener products and applications.
I later expanded my expertise at Eskay Screw, where I gained hands-on experience in manufacturing and developed in-depth knowledge of the cold heading process. This strengthened my attention to detail and deepened my understanding of what it takes to produce high-quality components that meet customer expectations.
Since joining All American Systems in 2005, I’ve combined my experience in both distribution and manufacturing to better serve customers. By understanding needs from every angle, I’m able to provide informed guidance and deliver reliable solutions that support long-term success.

Andrew Urhausen, Manufacturers Representative
I have been active in the industrial manufacturing sector since 2007, beginning my career in fastener and MRO distribution before transitioning to my current role as a manufacturers’ representative in 2011. My early experience with a large national distributor provided exposure to a broad range of industrial product categories, which has been instrumental in supporting the diverse demands of representing multiple product lines today. Throughout my career, several core principles have remained constant: maintaining open and timely communication, consistently following through on commitments, and taking a hands-on, face-to-face approach. These values have enabled me to achieve strong results while building lasting partnerships and meaningful professional relationships.

Neil Hoyt, Manufacturers Representative
I bring over a decade of experience in the fastener industry to All American Systems. In my previous role at Bisco Industries, a national distributor of hardware and electrical components, I worked with both OEM and distributor accounts to create long term supply chain solutions, from sourcing custom hardware to leveraging our suppliers for long term blanket orders. Working closely with a wide array of customers has taught me one universal truth: attentiveness and honest, open communication are the two most important facets of building a strong relationship. I look forward to bringing this experience to All American Systems, and helping forge new relationships between our customers and our supply partners.

All About All American
Getting to Know Your Business Partner
All American Systems is in its 27th year of operation and with over 105 years of combined product knowledge across our entire team. We have a good understanding of our markets and where to sell the products that our suppliers offer.
We focus on VMI providers and key distributors in our territory and work with them to develop solid connections with our supply base! We do this by bringing them leads and coordinating with account managers on OEM site visits to help find new opportunities and troubleshoot any issues that the end user might be experiencing. This level of trust between the distributor and All American Systems is critical to our success and that of the companies we represent.
While many of our activities are with sourcing and purchasing personnel, we strive to also get involved with sales individuals to get closer to the end user for value-selling opportunities. Early involvement with engineering and design work can lead to best-practice methods during assembly and can provide the “lowest total installed cost” for that component. These activities, in many cases, lead to complete assemblies, which reduces the burden at the OEM level while providing organic sales growth for the servicing distributor who gets the added benefit of cost-saving suggestions.
Currently, we are in a period of extreme supply chain challenges! Our team continues to support customers with options and short-term gap buy solutions…even beyond the products that we represent. Operating as a resource group, we want to be that first call on the minds of our customers when they need us the most.

About Our Suppliers
Many of our suppliers carry significant inventory so you do not have to! Reducing inventory carrying costs and decreasing lead time is the name of the game in today’s market, and we strive to balance your demands against availability and manufacturing lead times.
Blanket orders and safety stock are just two methods used to ensure you have the material you need to address spike demands and stock-out situations. As always, communication is vital in the supply chain when schedules are tight, and we are here to help in that process.
A number of our suppliers are prepared to handle your RUSH orders when there is no lead time.
